Friendly reminder for all of those who have tokens on MEXC:
âď¸ What actions should I take?
1. Please withdraw your $KEYFI tokens from MEXC exchange before July 31, 2022. They accept ERC20 withdrawals only.
2. If you need buy/sell $KEYFI, please continue to use our DEXs on ETH, BSC, and Polygon.
âď¸ Why is this happening?
We were recently notified of new volume requirements, and unfortunately the current organic volume does not suffice.
As you may be aware, exchanges have minimum volume requirements because without sufficient volume, they are "downgraded" on major coin listing sites, e.g. CoinGecko, CMC.
So, we understand their decision from a business standpoint.
The small, but loyal KeyFi community and its activity on MEXC does not justify their implicit and explicit costs at this time.
âď¸ What's next?
Like I mentioned, we maintain a good relationship with them, so when the markets improve and volume picks back up, we can re-engage them, or simply find another CEX.
